Woman Stabbed in Greenpoint Dispute: NYPD

A 24-year-old woman has been hospitalized following a violent attack in Greenpoint on Sunday morning, according to police.

The attack took place around 9 a.m. after the victim and assailant met one another in a prearranged meeting near Graham Avenue and Bayard Street. The pair then got into a dispute over money, and the perpetrator attacked the victim, stabbing her in the torso and neck.

The victim was rushed to NYC Health + Hospitals/Woodhull where she is receiving treatment for her injuries. She is expected to recover from the attack.

The investigation is still ongoing and no arrests have been made.
