Woman Dies After Falling From Manhattan Avenue Window, Police Say

A woman is dead after falling out of a window from a four-story Manhattan Avenue building in Greenpoint on Monday, according to police.

The woman, 62, was found behind Italy Pizza at 800 Manhattan Ave. at around 4:30 p.m. yesterday, police said. She was bleeding from the head, police said.

The 62-year-old, who lived in the building, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.

Her death is most likely a suicide, an NYPD spokesperson said.

I possibly know the lady who died…she was once a good friend, but we lost touch. I hope it is not my friend, she was a great girl.
