Williamsburg Teen Arrested in Local $2,300 Burglary, Second Suspect Still Unidentified: NYPD

Adrian Carr and the unidentified second suspect. (NYPD)

July 15, 2019 By Laura Hanrahan

Police arrested a Williamsburg teen over the weekend in connection with the burglary of a local residence earlier this month that resulted in thousands of dollars in stolen cash and goods, but are still looking for a second suspect in the robbery.

On July 7 at around 1:10 p.m., Adrian Carr, a 19-year-old resident of Moore Street, and the still unidentified suspect allegedly entered the backyard of 111 Lorimer Street through a rear gate. They then proceeded to enter the home though the building’s back door. Once inside, they allegedly stole $1,800 worth of jewelry and $500 in cash belonging to the 45-year-old resident.

Police took to social media on July 13, asking for help identifying two suspects related to the robbery. Later that day, Carr was placed under arrest and charged with burglary and criminal possession of stolen property, according to police.

Carr will appear in Kings Criminal Court on August 16, court records show.

Is this the guy that the police intercepted after a foot chase and arrested near Leonard & Ainsley last week?

Must be section 8 to live here. Time to evict and end public housing for criminals and their families.

Citi Bike = Crime

Anyone notice that both of these guys used bikes in their get-away and one of them used a Citi Bike? LOL. Had they used a car there would be a license plate to help find them.
Now that’s a good reason to tear out the bike lanes and put in dedicated bus lanes. Fight Crime: quit teaching kids how to ride bikes

I've heard a lot of completely ridiculous fear-mongering about bikes but that's new

Yeah who’s ever heard of a getaway car?!

And being able to find parking? In Williamsburg? I bet that’s why they rode bikes instead…
