Teenage Girl Found Dead in Greenpoint Apartment

Police are investigating the death of a teenage girl after her body was found inside her Greenpoint apartment yesterday.

On May 23, around 3:15 p.m. police responded to a call about an unconscious woman inside of 649 Leonard St. Once they arrived, police found 16-year-old Skylar Darragh on the floor, unconscious and unresponsive.

EMS responded and pronounced Darragh dead at the scene.

The medical examiner has yet to determine a cause of death and an investigation is still ongoing.
