A hand-drawn Swastika was found on a Manhattan Ave. parking meter on Wednesday in Greenpoint.

Police received a report on Oct. 24 at around 4:30 p.m. of the vandalism on a meter outside 1032 Manhattan Ave. The swastika has since been removed.

The incident is currently under investigation, police say. The perpetrator has not been identified.

The incident was first reported by Greenpointers, which said that several swastikas had been etched onto parking meters along the avenue. It is unclear, however, what the extent of the vandalism was.

Some responded to Greenpointers’ report on the incident on social media, denouncing the marking with comments like “Nazis are not welcome in my neighborhood!” and “Disgusting! To those who placed those signs, Shame on you!”

Others said it appeared to be an act of “drunken stupidity.”

This is not the first incident of this kind for the Greenpoint area.In June 2017, an 8-inch swastika was etched into the sidewalk on Kingsland Avenue.

A few months later, duct tape swastikas were found on tables at McGorlick Park, which led to a rally days later denouncing the act.

And now Divider-In-Chief Trump has blood on his hands, with the slaughter of 11 innocent souls in Pittsburgh –a direct result of his lies and politically motivated caravan hysteria. This excuse for a President is as bankrupt morally as his failed casinos.
