The police are searching for two men wanted for stealing thousands of dollars of electronics from cellphone stores in Greenpoint and other sections of Brooklyn.
The NYPD, which released video footage of the suspects Thursday, said that the first incident took place at around 4 pm on April 27, when the men entered the Sprint Store at 938 Pennsylvania Avenue in East New York and took $1,500 worth of electronics from the display counter.
The next day, at 4:30 p.m., the men allegedly entered the AT&T store at 115 Court Street in Brooklyn Heights. They took $1,700 in electronics from behind the display counter, according to police.
Then on May 5 at 2:52 p.m., the men took $2,412 worth of electronics from behind the display counter at the Sprint store located at 2230B Church Avenue.
On May 16 at 1:20 p.m., the men entered the Metro PCS store at 408 Myrtle Avenue in Clinton Hill. They took $1,418 worth of electronics from behind the display counter, police said.
Then at 1:36 p.m., they entered the AT&T store at 916 Manhattan Avenue in Greenpoint and took $1,420 worth of electronics from behind the display counter.
At 1:53 p.m. that same day, the men entered Metro PCS at 97 Nassau Avenue in Greenpoint, according to police. They took $1,419 worth of electronics from behind the display counter.
The final robbery took place at 12:28 p.m. on Sept. 20 in Brooklyn Heights. The men took $1,400 worth of electronics from behind the display counter at the Sprint store at 147 Montague Street, police said.
No one was reported hurt in any of these incidents.
The first suspect is described as black with a dark complexion. He is about 16 to 20 years old, and was last seen wearing a gray hoodie and black jeans.
The second suspect is black with a medium complexion. He is about 16 to 20 years old, and was wearing a tan UPS hat and a black long sleeve shirt.
