Jan. 28, 2020 By Allie Griffin

Police are looking for a suspect who allegedly robbed multiple banks across three precincts and two boroughs.

The suspect first hit a Williamsburg bank on Monday, Jan. 13. He entered Popular Bank, located at 15 Graham Ave., at 9:30 a.m. and passed a note to the teller demanding money.

The teller complied and handed over about $2,000. The man fled northbound on Graham Avenue, police said.

He struck again on Thursday, Jan. 23 — this time in Ridgewood. He entered another Popular Bank location at 918 Seneca Ave. at 2:30 p.m. He again passed a note to the teller demanding money and the teller gave him approximately $500, police said. He fled westbound on Myrtle Avenue with the cash.

Days later, the man hit a third bank in Bushwick on Monday, Jan. 27. He entered a Bank of America, located at 386 Knickerbocker Ave., around 2:35 p.m. and passed a note to the teller demanding money. The teller refused to hand over any cash and the man fled the bank in an unknown direction, police said.

Anyone with information in regard to the identity of this male is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the CrimeStoppers website at WWW.NYPDCRIMESTOPPERS.COM, on Twitter @NYPDTips.
