Police Find 2 Dead in Williamsburg Apartment

April 30, 2018 By Nathaly Pesantez

Two people in their 20s were found dead by police in a Williamsburg apartment yesterday.

Police arrived at an apartment on North 8th Street just before 1:30 p.m. on Sunday after receiving a 911 call about two unconscious individuals being there. Once inside, they found a 28-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman, both unconscious and unresponsive, police say.

EMS pronounced the two people, who were found lying face down in the bedroom, dead after arriving at the scene.

The identities of the pair are pending proper family notification.

The investigation is ongoing, and the NYC Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death for the deceased.
