Police have arrested a man who allegedly knocked two men unconscious in Williamsburg over the weekend after making anti-gay remarks toward them.

Brandon McNamara, 25, was arrested and charged with multiple counts of assault, hate crime, and harassment, according to police.

McNamara, from Middle Village, turned himself in at around 8 a.m. this morning to the 7th Precinct in Manhattan’s Lower East Side, a NYPD spokesperson said. He walked into the precinct with an attorney.

McNamara is alleged to have punched a 34-year old man and to have thrown the other victim, 29, against a tree on a Williamsburg street last Sunday. Both victims were unconscious and went to separate hospitals for injuries.

Information on his arraignment and court appearances is not yet available.
