Plans Filed for 92-Room Hotel in Williamsburg

Plans have been filed with the Department of Buildings for a six-story, 92-room hotel at 187 Cook St in Williamsburg.

The plans include a lobby, a reception area, offices, a laundry room, a fitness room and a breakfast area with a pantry.

The building would have three parking spaces and a storage room for four bicycles.

The plans differ from those that were filed for that location in Sept. 2016, which called for the construction of a 6-story commercial building.

The location is six blocks from the Morgan Avenue subway station, which sits on the L line, and is seven blocks from the Flushing Avenue station, which connects to the J, M and Z lines.

Michael Kang Architects will design the hotel, according to

Nehalkumar Gandhi of Cook Properties, LLC is the developer.
