Off Duty NYPD School Cop Arrested For Allegedly Raping Child: NYPD

An off-duty NYPD school safety agent has been arrested for allegedly raping and sexually abusing a child over the course of five years.

Jeanisidor Jean Baptiste, 43, was arrested within the 90th precinct– that mainly consist of the neighborhood of Williamsburg, Monday and hit with seven charges, including rape, predatory sexual assault against a child and sexual abuse, according to the NYPD.

Jean Baptiste is alleged to have abused the girl when she was between 5 and 9 years old, according to the New York Post. The publication also reported that Jean Baptiste is related to the victim, who is now 17 years old.

Police said the abuse did not take place in a school or while the agent was on duty.
