Amazing that they arrested a cop. I guess times have changed. Years ago I was stopped at a light in Williamsburg and was hit by a cop car traveling at a high rate of speed on a rain slick road and incurred much damage on the side of the car. When reporting it, the cops said no cop reported it so it didn’t happen.

Also yrs. ago I was hit by a hit and run drunk driver, not hurt but severe damage to car. The drunk stopped briefly and then took off. Bystanders said he reeked from alcohol. When I went to the station. The cops said the guy came in but they let him go (he had sobered up). I later found out he was a cop.
