NYPD: Man steals wallet from Williamsburg shop

A man stole a wallet from an employees-only section of a Williamsburg shop, according to police.

The unidentified man went inside Ritual Cosmetics at 143 Berry Street at 4:27 p.m. on May 9, and walked to a backroom meant for employees only. Once there, he stole a wallet belonging to a 28-year-old and fled the shop in an unknown direction.

The wallet had $30.00 in cash and some credit cards, police said.

Police have released a photo of the unidentified suspect, who is described as black, 5’11”, 160 pounds, and approximately 18-years-old. He is wearing a black jacket, a grey hoodie, grey sweatpants with a black stripe, and white sneakers while carrying a black book bag on his back.
