A motorcyclist is dead after he lost control of his bike in Ridgewood Friday and hit the pavement, according to police.

Christopher Tarry, 32, of East Flatbush, Brooklyn, was killed when he “failed to navigate the roadway” while riding a Suzuki motorcycle westbound on Cooper Avenue toward Irving Avenue at around 5:40 p.m.

EMS responded to the scene and transported him to Wyckoff Heights Medical Center, with severe body trauma, where he was pronounced dead.

Tarry, according to family member, was popping a wheelie when the accident occurred, reported the  NY DailyNews. The NYPD has not confirmed whether that was the case, and the investigation as to the exact cause of the crash remains ongoing.
