Man Stole $3K from Inside Parked Truck in Williamsburg: NYPD

A man stole $3,000 in cash from inside a parked truck in Williamsburg last month.

On Sept. 9, at 1:30 p.m., a man hopped inside a commercial vehicle parked in front of 558 Metropolitan Ave. by opening the driver’s side door. Once inside, he pocketed approximately $3,000 in cash, police said.

The driver of the vehicle saw the man take the cash and chased after him until the man took out a knife and fled in a blue four door Honda Accord, according to police.

NYPD

The NYPD has released the above video and photo of the suspect.
