A bizarre road rage incident captured on video shows two men scuffling on a Greenpoint street before one of them nearly crushes the other with his car.
The incident happened on July 24 at around 1:30 p.m. at Norman and McGuinness Boulevards, when two men are seen fighting on the roadway.
Police say the driver of a white Honda was apparently following a 24-year-old livery cab driver, which led to each driver cutting the other off until reaching the intersection.
The white Honda driver then got out of his car with a box cutter, and began menacing the cab driver with it, police say.
Video obtained by Yeshiva World News shows the man with the box cutter slashing it toward the livery cab driver, who appears with his fists raised while dodging the box cutter.
A Good Samaritan, also seen in the video, breaks up the fight, according to police. Immediately after, however, the white Honda driver goes into the livery cab and steals the keys out of the ignition, police say.
The cab driver chased after the white Honda and hung onto the car’s door, but the driver sped away with the 24-year-old still hanging on, nearly crushing him between a black van.
The victim was sent to Woodhull Hospital, where he was treated for hip bruises and abrasion to the hands, police say.
No arrests have been made in the case, according to police.

That doesn’t look like a white Honda. Isn’t that a Hyundai Sonata?

Wow!
No arrests? Well it was just assault with a deadly weapon I guess. Nothing serious like a cyclist rolling through a stop sign.
