Man Fatally Shot While in His Car in East Williamsburg: NYPD

A man was fatally shot while he sat in his car on an East Williamsburg street Tuesday, police said.

Ricardo Pena, 37, was shot in front of 58 Bushwick Ave. while sitting in his vehicle at around 2:35 p.m.

The gunman shot Pena in the face and head.

Pena lived at 200 Maujer St., a NYCHA development about three blocks away from where he was shot.

When police arrived on the scene, Pena was unconscious and unresponsive. EMS transported him to NYC Health + Hospitals/Woodhull where he was pronounced dead.

No arrests have been made in regard to the killing. A description of the suspect has yet to be released.
