Two men wound up in hospital yesterday after a man, who was making anti-gay statements, attacked them in Williamsburg leaving the pair unconsciousness, according to police.
The two victims, 34 and 29, were in front of 540 Metropolitan Ave. just before 1 a.m. on Sept. 23 when their attacker made “anti-sexual orientation statements” and assaulted them, police say.
The man punched the 34-year-old in the face, and then grabbed the 29-year-old and threw him against a tree. Both were rendered unconscious while the attacker fled in an unknown direction.
The 34-year-old was taken to Bellevue Hospital with a fractured shoulder, while the 29-year-old was treated as Woodhull Hospital for a broken finger.
The suspect is describe as white, and last seen wearing a black shirt, beige pants, and black and white sneakers.

someone was able to snap a photo of this dude, with what clearly depicts a hand on his arm most likely holding him back from the impending assault. YET, no one stopped it or stepped in?
