A Brooklyn man is facing hate crime and property damage charges after allegedly urinating on statues outside a Williamsburg church last week.

Andrew Oshesky, 28, was arrested Monday on several charges including two counts of hate crime and property damage, along with aggravated harassment and urinating in public, according to police.

Oshesky’s arrest comes just over a week after he allegedly desecrated two angel statues outside of Our Lady of Consolation Roman Catholic Church at 184 Metropolitan Ave. in the early hours of Dec. 2.

The 28-year-old, according to police, urinated over the statues before pushing them to the ground, causing them to shatter.

The incident sparked outrage, and is one of several incidents over the years at the church involving its statues being destroyed or damaged by vandals.

The destroyed statues also prompted Borough President Eric Adams and religious leaders to pool together $2,000 to restore them. The church, however, said the funds would go toward helping homeless children and those suffering from opioid addiction.
