Hearing-Impaired Bushwick Man is Missing

A 47-year-old man who lived in the Bushwick Houses hasn’t been seen since Aug. 17 and now police are asking for the public’s help.

Mamadou Diallo was last seen leaving his Bushwick Avenue residence on Saturday, Aug. 17 at 11 p.m., according to police.

He is described as black, 5’10” and 160 lbs with black hair and brown eyes. He is also hearing-impaired. 

The police have released the above photo of Diallo. 

Anyone with information in regards to this missing person is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the CrimeStoppers website at WWW.NYPDCRIMESTOPPERS.COM, on Twitter @NYPDTips.

An affordable housing lottery has launched for 115 apartments in a glassy luxury tower in Greenpoint with a swimming pool and interiors by prominent Brooklyn design firm Workstead. Under construction near the waterfront, the 381-unit building at 16 Dupont St. is part of Greenpoint Landing, the 22-acre, 10-building complex made possible by the 2005 Greenpoint-Williamsburg rezoning.
