Twelve neighborhood bars on six blocks in Williamsburg are hosting a St. Patrick’s Day bar hop in conjunction with the Grand Street BID.
The local pubs, the BID announced today, are offering unique drink specials like $4 cocktails, free food and cheap whiskey and beer combos on March 17 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. as part of the ninth annual event.
The lineup includes loyal neighborhood dives Bushwick Country Club and the Second Chance Saloon, as well as newcomers like Landline and Carneval — with specials at each spot on the hop.
Redd’s Tavern will have $4 cocktails and $3 shots, Lady Jay’s will have special frozen Irish coffee for $8 and Noorman’s Kil has a ‘Gansett and Tyrconnell Irish Single Malt combo for $8.
For food deals, Noorman’s Kil will be selling $2 Tuesday grilled cheeses, while Bushwick Country Club will offer free hot dogs to go with their pick back shots. Festive eats include corned beef sandwiches and Reubens at The Big Whiskey.
The Grand Street BID will hand out party favors at each bar location — along with their host and special guest, the drag queen Haireola Grande.
Below are the participants and specials for St. Patrick’s Day from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.:
The Second Chance Saloon (659 Grand) — $10 Jameson shot + Guinness pint combo
