Police are searching for a group of teenage boys responsible for the assault and robbery of a 62-year-old man in Williamsburg last month.
On Monday, March 4, around 7 p.m., three teens approached the man, who was walking outside of 244 South 3rd Street, and started punching him in the face. The boys then took the man’s wallet, which contained his ID and $120.
The teens then fled the scene, two heading down South 3rd Street, and the other fleeing south on Havemayer Street.
The suspects are described as being in their late teens. One suspect was last seen wearing blue jacket with a white stripe, white ski hat, dark pants, and white sneakers. The second was wearing a gray hooded jacket, dark pants, and white sneakers. The third suspect was last seen wearing a dark blue jacket with fur-lined hood, green ski hat, green pants, and black sneakers.
