6-story residential building proposed on Metropolitan Ave. to replace 2-story

632 Metropolitan Ave. (middle)

Sept. 14, 2017 By Nathaly Pesantez

Plans for a 6-story building have been proposed for a site on Metropolitan Ave, along with demolition plans for the existing 2-story building there.

The planned 65-foot building at 632 Metropolitan Ave. would be entirely residential, with 10 dwelling units in an area of 8,577 square feet. One apartment would be on the first floor, and two apartments would be on each level from the second to the fifth floor. The top floor is reserved for a single apartment.

The plans were filed on Sept. 12, while demolition plans for the existing 25-foot-structure approved in February, 2016. The design firm for the proposed building is the Manhattan-based Isaac & Stern Architects.
