An 89-year-old building along Williamsburg’s Graham Avenue may soon be replaced with an all-new five story residential building.

Southside Units, the developer, filed plans with the Department of Buildings (DOB) on Friday for the new development at 302 Graham Ave., just two blocks south of the Graham Avenue L train station.

The 7,475 square foot building will have 10 units—two per floor—as well as a laundry room and elevator.

Southside Units also filed plans with DOB to demolish the existing three-story development on the property back in October 2018.

Demolition of the decades-old building will require asbestos abatement, according to the filing.

The developer, which purchased the property for $2.7 million last month, did not immediately respond to request for comment.
