3 Men Assault Driver After Hitting His Car With Sticks in East Williamsburg, Police Say

Police are searching for three men who were reported to have assaulted a 43-year-old in East Williamsburg after hitting his car with sticks moments prior.

The incident happened on Nov. 5 at 6:20 p.m., when the group of men, between 17 and 19 years of age, began to strike the 43-year-old victim’s car with sticks they were carrying as he was inside it, police said.

The 43-year-old got out of his car, and was immediately attacked by the group, who punched him in his head and torso, according to police. The three men then fled the scene.

The victim sustained bruises throughout his body, and was taken to Wyckoff Hospital by ambulance, where he has since been released, police said.

The suspects, seen in the video released by the NYPD, are described to be in their late teens and Hispanic. One suspect was last seen wearing short sleeves and short pants. Another was last seen wearing a long sleeved sweat top and shorts, while the third suspect was last seen wearing all dark clothing.
