NYPD: Man Shot in the Leg Following Argument in Greenpoint

The police are looking for a suspect who shot a man in the leg during an altercation in Greenpoint last month.

The pair got into an argument at around 9:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 9, before the alleged perpetrator struck the victim in the head and pulled out a handgun.

The men then got into a struggle and when the victim tried to remove the weapon, he was shot once in the leg.

The suspect fled the scene and was last seen walking westbound on Clay Street toward Franklin Street. The police have released video footage of the alleged perpetrator.

The victim was transported to NYC Health & Hospitals/Bellevue, where he was treated and released for his injury.
