Two Men Wanted For Williamsburg Home Invasion, Demand Property from Resident at Gunpoint: NYPD

Feb. 28, 2020 By Allie Griffin

Police are looking for two gun-wielding men wanted for a home invasion in Williamsburg earlier this month.

The pair busted into a home near Boerum Street and Union Avenue by smashing through the front door at around 10 a.m. on Feb. 4. They then brandished a gun and demanded property from the 48-year-old female resident, police said.

The woman’s 17-year-old son heard the commotion and came out of his bedroom and caused the attempted robbers to flee the home, according to police.

No property was removed and no injuries were reported.

Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).

The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the CrimeStoppers website at WWW.NYPDCRIMESTOPPERS.COM, or on Twitter @NYPDTips.
