Police are using cellphone footage that a woman took to track down a man who allegedly groped her on the L train late last week.

On Thursday March 21, around 8:20 a.m., the 26-year-old woman was traveling southbound on the L train from Bedford Avenue when an unidentified man sat next to her. He began rubbing her breast with his elbow and then squeezed it. As the man was exiting the train at the Morgan Avenue station, the woman captured her assailant on her cell phone, police said.

The suspect is described as 5 feet 9 inches in height and is approximately 35-years-old. He was last seen wearing a puffy black coat, red shirt, jeans and black rimmed glasses.

Anyone with information on the case should contact the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-8477, or text CRIMES and then enter TIP577, or visit www.nypdcrimestoppers.com.
