Woman Forcibly Grabbed While Walking in Williamsburg: NYPD

Police are searching for a man who forcibly grabbed a woman in Williamsburg on Monday. (NYPD)

Police are searching for a man wanted in connection to a forcible touching that happened earlier this week in Williamsburg.

On March 27, around 7:37 p.m., a 23-year-old woman was walking in front of 275 N 8 St. when she was approached from behind by an unidentified man who reached out his hand and grabbed her. The man then fled the scene in an unknown direction, police said.

The suspect is described as black, approximately 30-years-old, 5 feet 11 inches in height, with a short cropped beard. He was last seen wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, ripped blue jeans, black shoes, and was carrying a large backpack.
