Two affordable housing lotteries are now accepting applications for nine units in two new buildings in Williamsburg.
Six units are up for grabs at the 10-story Ainslie Tower, located 467 Keap St., near the Lorimer L and Metropolitan G train station. Three one-bedroom apartments are available for $1,058 to individuals making between $36,275 and $43,860 and households of two with a combined income between $36,275 and $50,100.
Three two-bedroom apartments are going for $1,280 and are available to households of two earning between $43,886 and $50,100. Households of three can make up to $56,340 and households of four can make up to $62,580.
All units in Ainslie Tower come equipped with an in-unit washer, dryer, and dishwasher. Parking is available at an additional cost.
Preference will be given to applicants who are already residents of New York City, with additional preference given to residents of Brooklyn Community Board 1, municipal employees and those with mobility, vision or hearing impairments.
Three units are up for grabs at 396 S 5th St. (Trulia)
Three more one-bedroom units are available several blocks away at 396 South 5th St., located near the Marcy J/M train station. The four-story building comes equipped with a rooftop terrace and laundry room.
The units are going for $1,849 and are available to individuals making between $63,395 and $95,030. Two-person households can make up to $108,550.
Preference for these units will be given to applicants who are already residents of New York City, with additional preference given to those with mobility, vision or hearing impairments.
The deadline to apply to Ainslie Tower is April 3, with the 396 South 5th deadline following one day later on April 4.
