A cyclist was killed in Williamsburg late last night after being run over by a tanker truck on Broadway, police said.
At around 11:36 p.m. the 25-year-old woman was riding her bike eastbound on Broadway, approaching Rodney Street, when she was hit by a grey or silver colored tanker truck, also traveling eastbound.
The vehicle collided with the young woman, drove over her, and continued eastbound on Broadway, fleeing the scene, according to police.
Police at the scene found the cyclist unconscious and unresponsive with trauma to her entire body. EMS pronounced the woman dead on the scene.
The identity of the victim has not yet been released and is pending proper family notification, police say.
Police are continuing to investigate the incident and have not yet made any arrests.

Lord have mercy, poor young woman, condolences to the family, hope they catch the bastard coward who hit her and did not stop. Drivers, you must share the road with cyclists!!!!
99% chance she is a MORON no reflective vests or on her bike no lights 11:30 at NIGHT………but there is no reason to leave the scene you should be yelling at the woman for making it hard to see her, and she should get a ticket too. Sorry shes dead but cyclists need to learn if we cant see you then YOU are taking your life in your own hands.
I’m tired of driving at night in Sunnyside and almost hitting you, next time i might not see you until its too late
wow, you’ve always been a horrible poster, but now you’re blaming a murder victim
