Man Robs Williamsburg Duane Reade, Threatens to Stab Employee: NYPD

Police are searching for a man who robbed a Bedford Avenue Duane Reade and threatened to stab an employee in the process.

The thief according to police, entered the Duane Reade at 250 Bedford Ave. on Oct. 23 at around 7 a.m.

He had brought in several empty bags, which he filled with $340 of store merchandise like soaps and body wash before attempting to leave the store.

On his way out, he threatened a Duane Reade employee who approached him, telling him to “get away from me before I stab you.”

The thief then fled on bike in an unknown direction.

The suspect, identified by the 94th Precinct as Quinn Hipp, is described as black, in his 60s, brown-eyed, with a height of 6 feet 1 inch and weighing 180 pounds.
