Applications are now open for 38 affordable units at an upcoming building adjacent to the Williamsburg Bridge.
The building, located at 105 S. 5th St., is offering studios, one bedroom, and two bedroom units for rent through the city’s extremely low and low-income affordability program.
Nine studios are available at $865 for a single person making between $31,543 and $43,860, along with 10 one-bedroom apartments for $929. The one-bedroom apartments are available for one person or two people, with income requirements of $33,806 to $43,860, and $33,806 to $50,100, respectively.
Two bedroom units are available for household sizes between two and four people, and are priced at $1,121. Incomes to qualify for the 19 units begin at $40,423.
The building will include a recreation room, indoor bike parking, an outdoor terrace and rear yard, and parking for an additional fee.
Half of the units will go to residents of Community Board 1 in Brooklyn.

Applications must be postmarked or submitted online no later than June 22.
