NYPD: Man robs Williamsburg liquor store at gunpoint Monday

The NYPD is looking for a man who allegedly robbed a Williamsburg liquor store at gunpoint Monday night.

According to the police, the suspect approached a clerk at Mingstar Liquor at 598 Grand Street with a gun at around 11:00 pm and demanded cash.

The clerk handed over $1,500, and the suspect then fled east on Grand Street. No one was injured.

The suspect is described as black, approximately 25-years old and 5’09.” He was wearing a black Chicago Bulls baseball cap, a grey and black Nike jacket, jeans and white sneakers.
